It’s A Dog’s World ~ Sumner, WA
This workshop will be about fine-tuning crucial handling skills and techniques, and how to train those pieces with limited space and equipment to prep for the PNW winter months!
(Registration will open October 30th, at 8AM)
Who is it for?
This workshop is ideal for teams at all levels.
Sequences can be broken down for younger teams, and longer sequences can be put together for more advanced teams!
Working Spot vs. Auditing Spot
This is a training workshop, so there will a large variety of topics covered that Megan feels important for the working teams registered.
Working teams will be split into a morning group and an afternoon group.
Auditors have the sweet deal of sitting in & joining the discussions, as well as being able to observe 16 different dog and handler teams working through the skills presented over the day.
What will you learn?
Training is always individualized for each learner (human and dog!) but we will cover:
- Common handling techniques
- Critical skills for following the handling
- Planning your positions on course
What does it cost?
Working spots – $110
Working Spots are limited to 8 per group
Working & Auditing – $125 total for a working spot AND to audit the other session
Auditing Spots – $30 half day or $50 whole day
Auditing Spots are unlimited
