Michael Anderson

Mike began training in agility in 1996. He’s a long time member of the CDTA and has been a volunteer agility instructor for them for sixteen years. His main focus teaching agility is handling skills. He began studying handling techniques and dog’s responses to them shortly after becoming involved in agility. He has attended multiple seminars with some of the best agility trainers in the sport. He’s currently training with Megan Foster and has been for over a year now. He’s a member of One Mind Dogs on line and studying handling techniques through their website program. He has trained and handled two border collies, Tucker and Tad, one Australian shepherd, Tease and his current border collie Twitch. He credits all four of them with teaching him a ton about agility. He’s a strong believer in anything worth doing is worth doing well and that one should have a whole lot of fun while doing it. He uses that same philosophy in his agility classes. He is very excited to be joining the Synergy Dog Sport training team.
